John Hoffman is the Head of Ethernet Product Management for Tata Communications which is part of the $55 billion Tata Group in India. He is responsible for the Company’s Global WAN Ethernet Portfolio and supports sales efforts to both the carrier and enterprise markets. John Hoffman has been involved with the WAN Ethernet Portfolio since its inception at Tata Communications and helped Tata Communications to become a leading provider of Ethernet Services within India and globally.
Prior to joining Tata Communications, Mr. Hoffman was Product Manager, Ethernet Services for Tyco Global Network, which was acquired by Tata Communications in July 2005. He was responsible for the introduction of Ethernet services.
Mr. Hoffman joined Tyco in 1997 and held various management positions in sales and marketing and purchasing prior to his appointment to Ethernet Product Manager in 2004. He has 12 years of management experience in the field of international telecommunications.
Mr. Hoffman earned his Masters in Business Administration from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, Accounting & Finance from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
