Kent Wong, VP, IP Competence Center APAC, Alcatel-Lucent

Kent Wong is VP of IP Competence Center (IPCC) in the APAC region. In this role, Kent is responsible for business development, solution positioning, product management, consulting engineering, as well as go-to-market and commercial strategy for Alcatel-Lucent IP business in APAC region.<br> <br>
Kent has extensive knowledge and rich experience in IP/MPLS networking in both the business and technology aspects.<br> <br>
Previous to this role, Kent served in several roles for IP solutions within Alcatel-Lucent Asia Pacific region. He was the lead of IP business development for North Asia, senior IP product management for Asia Pacific, and IP solution consultant for Asia Pacific.<br> <br>
Kent joined Alcatel through the acquisition of TiMetra Networks, where he held position in Research & Development (R&D) for the IP Service Router. Kent also worked in various R&D roles for IP products at Nortel Networks before he joined TiMetra Networks.<br> <br>
Kent holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
